we all want network states, parallel civilizations, exit velocity. and yet most of us can’t govern our own browser tabs. you can’t fork a state if you can’t fork yourself new article: https://embassy.svit.la/p/fork-yourself-before-the-state

TIL: ToSDR is a real service that exists. (See Photo + Link) @vitalik.eth's post about openness and verifiability got me thinking about all adhesion contracts around the world wide web. Those little Terms of Service that literally everybody clicks and nobody reads. (Below) Normally, PII & ToS are fine print buried deep within a site map that live in a canonical footer, but what if they could be more than this? What if they represent a sorting function of philosophical alignment for data controls and governance for your service to be considered. How would this change the way you thought about and positioned them? Perhaps its high time to flip the script… WDYT VB? https://vitalik.eth.limo/general/2025/09/24/openness_and_verifiability.html https://tosdr.org/en/new_service

Today I learned of https://www.opensourceecology.org/gvcs/ which offers open source plans to make all the basic machines you need for a industrial level civilization - diy car or truck for $8000 - cinc machines, aluminum extruder, construction and farming machines, and many more Being able to repair and produce new parts for machinery can make any network state/society more independent and cost effective
