well first off, to be clear, the money use case is most important (what Bitcoin went after in the early days) and this is a commentary on what we use that decentralized money for do we use it for finance? lending/borrowing/payments rails? that's the popular answer and also the obvious answer, just apply new money t

another VISA card with a crypto brand slapped on top is how word of mouth happens, which the industry desperately needs and should seek more of
got nothing against their shipping rate, it's that they're shipping stuff I consider pointless to moving the industry forward another VISA card with a crypto brand slapped on top is a distraction there are people who get hyped about it, but to me it's checking boxes that look like progress while meaning nothing when

The best ones are hiding on Are[dot]na, niche Substacks, and private Discords, not going viral on TikTok. Bullish on taste as a moat b

every successful product in the world is built for users, not for price action (people don't get it) the next wave of products will be game-changing, price discovery will follow (people will get it)
how can there be so much decorrelation between the price action and the institutional wave does it mean that eventually, crypto assets were just fun, speculative, one-time "things", and what will remain is the infra (blockchain) and stablecoins?
