The new Resident Evil movie looks like it will feature a side story set in the universe of the games.
It would be quite refreshing to see a Hollywood game adaptation run respectfully parallel to the main story instead of running roughshod over it.

Seventy percent of Hollywood movies use AI in their production pipelines. They just hide it behind polish and credits.
Hating indie filmmakers for using it just gives Hollywood more power.

Watched Thrash over weekend.
Town gets flooded in a hurricane. Sharks show up. Mayhem follows.
A year back had watched Crawl which had a very similar story line except instead of Sharks you had Alligators.
There is an unimaginative algorithm deciding what movies to be created and I'm a sucker who is watching them all and them complaining about it.
