I used to be under the impression that true meditation is only a state of zero thoughts (achieved through sitting in a lotus pose 🤭).
So every time I was doing guided meditation, or just observing my thoughts or feelings in the body, I thought it didn't really count.
But recently I've had an epiphany... First of all, who's counting??
Secondly, meditation is just a word. It can mean whatever I need it to mean for me.
And that just opened a new world for me. Like, I can do an imaginative relaxing activity any time I need, to work through something that's bothering me, or for an insight? How fun is that??
