zm honestly really even fully explain how much this means to me. the cef is now the 4th place I've earned money in web 3 from a couple bounties at farcon onchain creator house by @humpty.eth and winning farhack 2026 with zlank by @limone.eth so this means so much to keep on being able to give back to the farcaster universe. clank glank zlank away.

i told adrienne that i would provide feedback through convergent actions instead of pure critiques. and a smart guy once told me "fundamental to growing the network is sharing/building things that make the network better for the next user". so i built this little tool. a discovery hub for builders. a dao that isn't a dao. how it works: - anybody can submit a proposal of the projects they'd like to see get funded, or request funding for their own projects. - all users can vote or flag the proposals/requests shared and submitted. why? - to enable seamless and conscious discovery for the builders, communities, and mainly the cef stewards. - to test whether people of farcaster are truly forthcoming to help develop the ecosystem. what about spam? - users must hold at least 1 $CLANKER to quality for voting on and submitting proposals/requests. - users must swap at least $1 $CLANKER to vote on or submit proposals/requests. (the app charges/takes nothing) open for all questions, feedback and harsh criticism

I just distributed $26.08 (42M $GLANKER) to $BLAHBLAHBLAH holders in the BLAHBLAHBLAH Empire! Congratulations to @nounishprof @adrienne (@ myself), & whoever that wallet is that's holding (maybe @mfa?) Because we can just do things for fun 🙏 Like clank random tokens from random moments via @clanker on the feed... then simply attach an Empire stack to it.. then throw some shekels into the treasury and rando distribute to those active community members who decided to join in on the fun 🫡 Yes. I just updated the gmfarcaster website with the latest information about the /cef. The CEF has distributed $112,000 to 42 projects in its first 3 months including: - $16.5k in activation grants that got fed directly back into the farcaster/clanker ecosystem - $5k in creator grants for original essays and video content about clanker - $31k in builder grants - $52k in sustainability grants, to help offset costs and provide teams with runway to keep building on their way to finding their own sustainable revenue models - $7.5k in fresh clanks to people trying new things with clanker Want to learn more? How I’m spending my CEF grant I bought the deep. Just kidding. I’m spending money on standard maintenance and app improvements ($150/month) and on the community - about $30 per week. I topped up the X API balance to make the bot available to everyone on X too. @joysender also got dozens of times smarter on Farcaster. (lol just use he please, he’s free and fun!) I’m considering replacing the image generation model inside the app itself. I’m polishing Celebration Hub to absolute perfection so I can take marketing more seriously and make it not only the best on Farcaster, but the best on the internet in general. I also donated part of the grant to other builders and launched a /poidh campaign. As you probably know, I share all the progress weekly - and even daily I post smaller updates. Just follow along / check replies 👇 👇 👇 It's great to build on @farcaster.

And just a note about this: if you weren't one of the grantees this round, keep building! We do have a list of builders that have been recommended or spotted on the timeline that we are still keeping an eye on. It's been a quieter month, so less funds to work with and therefore a smaller round this time. Also, this is the third month so during August we'll review what we've done thus far with the Clanker team. If you've received a grant, make sure we have your feedback and how you used funds so we can report that back and evaluate for future iteration. TY!

I would love to apply for a /cef grant. ## Some background $MXJXN was perhaps the first artist coin on clanker and I would enjoy building more on their tooling. Ive launched the /cryptoart auctionhouse miniapp, a manifold marketplace clone on base and mainnet with only 2% fees launched in December. Not clanked yet. I run @suchbot who does research and provides tools and builds snaps on the timeline. As /cryptoart steward it is my personal mission to build useful tools for artists to use and well documented open source code to clone. ## What I'm working on: I've built out a whole NFT contract deployment, management, and tooling thats ready to ship. https://github.com/mxjxn/cryptoart-studio/tree/main/apps/studio I have a working clone of sudoswap as well — NFT and 1155 liquidity pools paired against eth or any token. https://mxjxn.github.io/such-lssvm/ I'm working on a gallery massively-multiplayer style art gallery metaverse for hosting live events with thousands of people. https://github.com/mxjxn/such-gallery-elixir rogue.boston is a miniapp to book rides, and eventually watch content. an opportunity for new clanker use-cases. ## IF I RECEIVED A GRANT... I would spend the whole month of august dedicating myself releasing these features with tight clanker integrations. I would tie the marketplace tools, creator tools, fc and clanker tooling all together to make the absolute best NFT collecting and trading experience i can. And then, I'll teach @suchbot to help people use those tools. "Hey suchbot, lets create an LP for my latest collection with a 5% curve, a 5% pool fee, and royalties enforced" and suchbot would prompt you with a snap or app screen with the creation form mostly filled out, ready for you to submit a tx and deploy. Half of August I will be away from home, having not yet started a new part time job. With this grant money, I would be able to work nearly full time on these new projects and services. It would provide me the resources I need to finally see them through to launch. Thank you @mattlee and @zaal for nominating me! @suchbot please make a multipage snap about this
