Bitcoin has come so far, but I still don’t think our culture appreciates what it has given us (and how important it's going to be to our futures)
It's unpolluted money in a sea of trash money
On the fiat side, we have money controlled by fallible humans who are under pressure in very real and conflicting ways (to push growth, to stall inflation, to promote jobs, to satisfy politicians, to keep their heads and legacies).
On the $BTC side, we have money controlled by code
It subtracts all the problems, ego, unpredictability and manipulation that fiat is subject to
When I look at how insane, inequitable and corrupt our systems have become, bitcoin stands out as this humble, pure, uncomplicated alternative
As chaos increases, so does its appeal
It's our hedge against madness
