PANews reported on May 20 that according to the announcement of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Katherine Reilly replaced the retiring Deborah Jeffrey as the SEC's Acting Inspector General. Reilly has served in the SEC's Office of Inspector General since 2020 and has held legal and supervisory positions at the FTC, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and the Department of Justice. She holds a law degree from the University of Texas and a master's degree in law from the University of Melbourne, and will continue to promote SEC regulatory efficiency and transparency in her new position.

PANews reported on May 3 that Bitdeer, a Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin mining company, released the latest data on its Bitcoin holdings on the X platform. As of May 2, its total Bitcoin holdings had increased to 1,245.8 (Note: this number is pure holdings, excluding Bitcoin deposited by customers). In addition, its Bitcoin mining output this week was 39.9 BTC, but 28.5 BTC were sold.

The extension that was impersonating vscode solidity (and many others following the same pattern) have been removed. We have seen that a fake extension or virus can spam many downloads (if that was their technique) So how to identify is the right extension? The best way is to look at the published date. The vscode solidity extension was published on the 2015-11-19 at 7:35 am, the published date cannot be faked. The extension was one of the first ones in the marketplace, after the official announcement of the extension sdk the day before. So in case of doubt, when choosing any extension.. check the date.
