Im halfway through, and I like it so far. Thought the books would be unfilmable.

If you really hated the first episode, maybe not? 

I thought it was watchable but bland because the characters were flat. Got a lot better in ep 2

i admit i only watched the first ep, but it was so bad i'm reluctant to give it another chance. is it really worth it?

it's excellent, much better than the chinese version

It's a bit fast compared to the books, and they made some creative changes which I think is fine. Not incredible, but overall well made and I really hope it gets renewed for a second season

I just finished episode 5 (no spoilers) but so far I've actually noticed some of the plot holes that irritate me most from the books are well sealed up on the show. Still, lots of tiny science annoyances, but it's a *wild* ride. Way better than expected IMO.

I put down the first book on the last chapter. Maybe I’ll like the show better.

Just put it in my watch list this morning, maybe I’ll watch the first episode as soon as the kids go to bed.

I will probably start it this week. Have you read the three books? Which one is your favorite? For me, it was the first one, the third, and finally the second one. I think the second one is the worst from all of them.

I’m enjoying it, a little concerned they won’t stick the landing but so far so good 6ish episodes in

I feel like the start of the book is a bit confusing and slow, so I’m not surprised the show starts a bit weak (might not seem weak in hindsight)

it's great, but the books are just 10x better! Liu Cixin is just too damn good
