what would you do if you were the founder of noice? -------------------- there's a 100 ways you could answer this: on tokenomics, roadmap, airdrops, specific product features, growth tactics, partnerships with base projects or products, content, marketing campaigns etc. if i like, it's $1, comment replies are $3 & ok bangers are at $5 in $noice. let the games begin. keen to hear what the community would do. be practical.

gotta find a way to create a flywheel with $noice, something like: - top tippers and/or earners receive x $noice allocation - allocation can only be used for tipping others - need to buy or hold x $noice to be eligible for allocation the thing you need to optimize for is distribution, this is what made degen great. tokens went to those earnestly contributing to the network as judged by other casters. tokens flowed to the right people, many sold too early, but eventually it managed to hit escape velocity. conditions are right for something similar to happen with noice.

I think it’d be cool to reward people who have been consistently tipping each day BUT are not top of the leaderboard by giving them some $noice to continue tipping with tbh That way it creates a little incentive for the smaller guys to remain active and shows them that even if you don’t get #1 on the leaderboard you’re still valuable and get rewarded

I think the core product is really nice (errr noice), and that mindshare is growing, many people see it as a 'Degen 2.0' type opportunity. That's why I would go for the "mile deep, inch wide" approach and not try and be everywhere too early. I think there are some lessons from Degen itself in this regard (L3, Solana integration). In that regard, I think $NOICE needs to find a way to create this flywheel between earning and tipping out that hybridizes the Allowance approach (protocol funds) and individual tipping (we fund). I think there are opportunities in channels in this regard, where if channels can 'sponsor' their creators and have them tip out in a certain currency, it could take off. Thinking of /higher here, for example.

Previously worked on a similar project so have thought about this a lot: * Go to X. It's the big leagues and you'll have to figure out how to make noice cross-platform, which opens up Reddit/TT/more growth eventually. You can own this Like=tip meta if you go deep. * People tip bc 1) it's cool and they are generous and 2) to distribute a token. For #2, partner with top Base projects to distribute their token on FC/X and take a 10% fee for revenue. You can even allow token projects to create token distributions for other people (founders, team, evangelists, or even celebs like Elon). So I could set up a $cbDOGE tip on every one of Elon's Likes/actions. Same for $TRUMP and Trump's account. * Make tipping more visible: easily sharable with OG images, flexes of how much people have made, etc. One thing $DEGEN had goin was all tips were seen...vs noice is behind the scenes. So need to find a more visible mechanic to create a flywheel. * Your launch videos have nailed the GTM. Keep running that playbook.

prob a hot take, but my wallet's getting overrun by random tip tokens with zero liquidity and miniscule market caps. idea: introduce a Tipping Multiplier where users earn boosted $NOICE rewards for tipping in certain high-value tokens (set a market cap or assign specific tokens). or maybe even a % match of $NOICE could be added on to the tip. incentivizes tipping with established tokens and still allows ppl to tip in their random personal coins if they wanna forego the multiplier.

On other platforms when I hit "like," I'm a bit let down each time — cause there's no noice. So you've already achieved one of the key founder goals: users thinking about the product when it's not available and wondering when I'll get it over there, and over there, and over there.

If I were the founder of Noice: 1. Expand beyond Farcaster — normies don’t care about protocols, they care where the attention is. You need to be where the culture lives: X, TikTok, Reddit. Especially TikTok — perfect for viral formats like “how much I earned just by posting.” 2. Partner with other Base projects — from memecoins to tools. Integrate into their communities, launch co-branded missions, or offer rewards for cross-engagement. 3. Content-driven growth with challenges — stuff like “Post for 7 days — see how much you earn” or “Top post of the week = x $NOICE.” Gamified growth without low-effort farming. 4. Smart airdrop design — focus on quality over quantity. Reward casters who actually move the needle, not just bots and farmers. 5. Simplify UX — the product’s great, but still rough for normies. Web2 login + auto wallet (Privy or Web3Auth) is a must. TL;DR — I’d think like a TikTok creator, not a crypto protocol. Because attention = growth.

Don't drink the kool-aid. Traction is great but keeping it up is the hard part and community goodwill can turn on you in a heart beat I don't know that there much more room to grow horizontally on farcaster, but I still wouldn't be tempted with a twitter expansion unless you have a clear idea *how* to do it. A much better strategy than a subpar expansion to twitter is a strategy that brings people over from twitter. Once they are in Farcaster, they're in your territory. Instead of going wider, I'd attempt to go deeper. Figure out how to earn more money by doubling down on what's working already. That'll give you a clear idea what to focus on next. There's nothing wrong with earning money. It means people value your product. Figure out what exactly users are willing to pay for, and that will make it clear where they see value.

I see 4 main opportunities here: 1. Cross-Allowances Much like I can in my Mercury account, I can do auto-splits between accounts. Everyone should be able to direct tokens of one kind into their tipping ecosystem. Let me denominate a value and auto-fire. 2. Embedded Noice The mini app ecosystem is vibrant here as well but NOICE still exists outside of that realm. Extending the hooks for tipping into the developer landscape drys up a lot of plumbing many builders are likely thinking about getting to later instead of on Day 1 3. Noice Campaigns I attribute this to @bitfloorsghost.eth but the organic distribution of new tokens via engagement behavior has a lot of appeal to new tokens and ecosystems trying to get off the ground. 4. "Noicities" As many others have done, providing an exchange for the various currencies that are earned would be a great unlock for furthering relationships with other ecosystems. NFTs may be dead, but swag and other rewards are still on the table.

so many ideas but something i would love to see is overlap with irl culture in blr/sf. the third wave on 12th main is a cultural spot and not just a coffee shop and that vibe isn't actually present in any of the other branches. so creators using noice money at third waves would be cool. good for noice and could make third wave the startup/creators coffee shop again.
