What should I do? X9 Pro 1TB, X9 2TB, or X9 Pro 2TB? I don't really have the money for a 2TB but the small difference feels like a no brainer? (This is to occupy one of the thunderbolt 3 ports on my 2018 mac mini homelab server)

I filled up my existing 500gb SSD pretty quickly. Was thinking maybe splitting out to a 1TB dedicated just to shows or 2TB split with shows and movies. Then I can use the 500gb just for music.

i recommend going for the biggest size you can afford. i often say this about memory and cpu, and nowadays, i should say the same for gpu. it is what keeps you using the same box longer.

i ran jellyfin off 4tb SSD for about a year, 4tb gets a lot of media honestly, but 1-2tb sounds pretty tight overall can you add a nvme internally? there's 4tb nvme available around $200 on amazon

I have the x9 2tb it’s pretty slick. I remember looking at the pro as well, but don’t recall what the difference was. I’d just go biggest size you can.

going full SSD is a pain in the wallet for sure. Can you add a drive later? If not, I usually bite the bullet and get the larger one. Buy cheap = buy twice.
