For flying with a toddler, I am a car seat in airplane seat convert. Everyone is more comfortable (and theoretically safer).

the direct proximity of water fountains to toilets in airports is slightly unsettling

Every other airline: no bags and please cut off your legs

Southwest: as many bags as you want and here’s some more legroom
