my phone is broken and super slow at charging 😔 i bought it in sept but didn't get apple care+, paid with my amex but it's 90 days pass the date of coverage. hopefully they'll fix it as manufacturer's defect

Do you pay your monthly cellular bill with your Amex? In America that makes you eligible for their service. Not sure if it’s the same in Canada but I don’t buy apple care anymore and I’ve used it on 2 phones with a $50 deductible.

Apple is really good at these things, even without Apple care+. So hope that they can, and maybe even suggest to the Genius Bar that it is a manufacturing defect. Additionally Amex has been amenable to me (in the past) on large purchases over 90 days that fail within the "manufacturers window" which idk what that means. But basically Amex covered it and then chased that it was a defect (this was on a maybe $250 WiFi router). Hopefully!!! One of the two of them will be able to help
