Today, after a long time, the power went out. As usual, I quickly got up to stick to my routine and get things done early. But today, all my electronic devices were off—I had nothing to work with. No computer, no Wi-Fi, not even phone battery. So I brought out my notebook and just started writing. I wrote so much that the heaviness in my heart finally lifted. It reminded me that writing used to be my old companion, but the busyness of everyday life had made me forget it. While writing about God’s blessings, I realized how many times He had fulfilled my wishes, yet I hadn’t truly appreciated them. I hope the power goes out at your place too, so you can return to the good things you used to do :))) 🪻🪽 2 replies

As a teenager, Frida Kahlo was in a terrible accident.
Her bones were shattered, her spine was injured, and she was confined to bed for months.
Doctors didn’t think she would ever walk again.
But there, on that hospital bed, her mother hung a mirror on the ceiling and placed some brushes beside her.
Frida began to paint…
She painted her pain.
Her body.
Herself — again and again — in different states, wearing the mask of pain, love, and loneliness.
She once said:
“I paint myself because I am so often alone and because I am the subject I know best.”
Her life was full of physical suffering, Diego Rivera’s betrayals, infertility, and solitude.
But she turned it all into honest, powerful, and iconic works of art.
Frida never wanted to play the victim.
She became a symbol of resilience, dignified pain, and truth in art. 1 reply

If you are "committed" to work, to love, to family, to friends, to anything,
If you love animals and flowers and plants,
If you're independent, you're trying to live your life by not relying on anyone.
If you don't lie, you don't cheat, you don't hang out with anyone, and you value yourself, your personality, your pride, your time and your life,
Thank you for not letting the exact meaning of "humanity" be forgotten.
