sometimes forget i'm wearing airpods while working and keep them in for a few hours without any music or audio playing not hard to imagine how a few generations of products from now we'll have a device in our ears for most of the day (if not all the time)

We'll prolly have a lot more. Here's my prediction: Contacts for AR & implants for audio; customized surroundings. Imagine walking on the streets with your fav artworks on the walls, fav sculpture at town square and daily reminders on billboards. Everybody lives in the same city but it looks very different.
