I know some are concerned about the phone number verification, but how did they get on the farcaster? Are they not doing verification of phone numbers? If they are already doing that what are they worried about? I think @jacek and @dwr.eth are equal in trust. In the first place, our phone number is recorded all over the place, even if we don't know it.

Honestly, I think there’s just a small group of users who are super privacy-focused—or more likely, have a ton of bot accounts they want to keep running. 😅 For most real-life users I talk to, phone verification is just kind of
normal. We already do it for WhatsApp, Signal, banking apps, even food delivery. It’s not some wild dystopian thing—it’s just easy and familiar. So yeah, not saying phone verification is perfect, but for most of us, it’s really not a big deal.
