I know some are concerned about the phone number verification, but how did they get on the farcaster? Are they not doing verification of phone numbers? If they are already doing that what are they worried about? I think @jacek and @dwr.eth are equal in trust. In the first place, our phone number is recorded all over the place, even if we don't know it.

Honestly, I think thereâs just a small group of users who are super privacy-focusedâor more likely, have a ton of bot accounts they want to keep running. đ For most real-life users I talk to, phone verification is just kind of⊠normal. We already do it for WhatsApp, Signal, banking apps, even food delivery. Itâs not some wild dystopian thingâitâs just easy and familiar. So yeah, not saying phone verification is perfect, but for most of us, itâs really not a big deal.
