hi everyone! feedback please! I'm trying to write out all the problems that /humankind solves.. but not sure which one to narrow in on. Any of these speak to you? If so, which ones? If not, what else speaks to you?

People are really sensitive right now to artificial everything. We are being bombarded with how many things in our life are toxic and we didn’t know. Microplastics, food dyes, etc. I love brands that are embracing basics and “real” over synthetic and cheaper. I don’t worry about what toxins I’m breathing in when I light your candles. I cringe thinking about what I’ve inhaled in the past and how many glade plugins I’ve used.

Seconding this. Health is one of the reasons I’ve been more sparing with candles. I used to keep them on all the time. If I believed a candle was not releasing harmful chemicals, I would be more incentivized to purchase at a higher price point and burn more often. But quality and good scent is a non-negotiable accompanying this.

Thanks Pichi. Loved the way you framed that.

Adding to this: not only quality of materials, but the packaging matters, too. The phrase "this candle's container is so cool" has been uttered more than once in our household on receipt of Humankind candles.
