Browsers ceased to be an at-scale consumer platform independent of distribution after Internet Explorer was released and crushed Netscape. There was a brief moment where Mozilla Firefox (thanks to IE6 stagnation) might have proven a counterfactual, but Google and Apple won the browser market on mobile and then desktop because of distribution. Consumers are fine if the default is good enough. Hard to make it 10x better.

Also once you hit L7 at a tech company, it’s basically game over for your inbox. You get recruiter/InMail literally everyday. Crazy compensation packages and teams will do almost anything to get you to join. My friend had his entire roof replaced just so he could move to NYC. Another had the company buy his home..

I haven’t worked out in 1 year and some months. I was getting myself out of self-inflicted mental holes/adapting to founder stuff. I’m just skinny now. I run a lot while chasing wild life. I like to pretend they are racing me. I also like to squat beside them and telepathically tell them to LOCK IN or their line won’t survive the winter. Gophers like to vibe w me, birds like to hang around and sing to me, dogs love to stare and hold eye contact (they know who big dawg is), kids like making funny faces. fat kids are the best. I love seeing them trip idk why. don’t ask. I need to get back in this week and let my obsessive personality take care of the rest.
