The last two weeks got me thinking about my own mortality a lot... Decided to go to my father's burial site now, sit 'with' him, think, and sketch a bit.

It did. It was a good decision to go there.
I do not want to over-dramatize it, but a lot of things could have gone wrong in the last two weeks, and I am grateful I am still alive.

Now I live everyday as my last and love those all around me with everything I can

Thanks, Nomad... I felt I had to go there because after the noise faded a bit after my own hospital stay recently, I realised how close I was to the final exit... They almost missed that pulmanory embolism + the thrombosis in my leg.
I was lucky to have such a good doctor who spotted it, or else... well.
It was close.

I must say, after all the noise around what happened to me in the last two weeks, I realized how close I was to the final exit... had they not found that embolism in time.
The wheels in my head turned harder today.

My father passed away last year so I understand. ❤️ What strikes me the most, which of course we all know but when it happens, is the permanence of it. 🫂🫂

Thanks, Rick. I got lucky: in the last two weeks, I had been to the hospital because a pulmanory embolism was detected... I got lucky, but it also got me thinking now that the noise faded a bit.
I felt the best place to process that for me was there.
It was a good decision.

I looked back at the last two weeks and realised how close I was to leave this earth had it not been for my doctor to spot that embolism.
So I went there for some solitude, and I think I found what I was looking for 💚
