there is somewhat of an actual talent pipeline problem tho I think - i don’t know about “shortage” per se downstream of it being low status, branding issues, and venture funding declining, harder to attract elite talent in such conditions

Also the elite talent gets nerdsniped and works on low impact stuff. There's a lot of independent builders and founders I'd hire instantly (as someone who currently only hires those staff-level types you're joking about)

The talent is out there but many projects filter for prestige over potential. If we want real innovation, we need to value curiosity, adaptability, and onchain experience, not just resumes from a Big firms.
