there is somewhat of an actual talent pipeline problem tho I think - i don’t know about “shortage” per se downstream of it being low status, branding issues, and venture funding declining, harder to attract elite talent in such conditions

yeah I mean this is a shitpost but in all seriousness I think there is a legit shortage of S-tier founders and probably the same applies to staff level or founding eng however, don’t really think the same applies to the average role (marketing, ops, swe, whatever)
