My vibe coding a mini app journey so far. Since it's my first time, I wanted to do something very basic like a quiz before I get more advanced

1. used v0.dev to build a nice looking frontend to work with. Found it was so much easier and prettier than just using Cursor directly even with more prompting
2. moved code into Cursor and refined from there since found v0 wasn't as good about refinements I was requesting (especially with guiding me to popular React libraries). Added context with farcaster mini apps and wagmi docs
3. got something basic working locally that I wanted to deploy
4. got stuck on Vercel deploy and been going in loops with Cursor on the cause after pasting in error logs. Got so stuck I just restarted everything over from scratch but then ran into same issues so likely something obvious I need to fix once I try again tomorrow

Update: I just got the app to deploy on vercel based on tips people gave me! I followed @fucory's advice on telling Cursor to think harder about the problem vs letting it go in loops, then from @mattlee's advice gave that thinking to another AI which told me what was likely wrong. Once I followed that and fixed, it worked

Next step is to get it published and working specifically as a Farcaster mini app. Then nice to have is to integrate Farcaster social graph using Neynar to make a leaderboard

Being willing to learn rather than blaming the llm already puts you on the path to being a great vibe coder

One thing that I do now too is keep a markdown file tracking error logs. So given a ticket to be worked on and a looping error I’ll tell Claude that it’s been looping on said problem. Think harder about the solution then log the issue it got stuck on. Reference the error log once in a while for steps when you get stuck again

vercel problems are a good thing but can be so annoying lol

@linda 2 things that worked for me in Cursor while developing @tipdotmd miniapp which are underrated and additions to the great guide you shared:
1. Use @docs to add custom docs and Cursor will index for you. The miniapps one and neynar one are both already LLM optimised so easily ingested.
2. Clone the @neynar starter in a different folder and add that new folder to your workspace. Ask agent to study / reference that folder as an example to follow for features you might need and starter has.

Was this by a chance the Vercel deploy error? I kept running into this when I tried using the quick start command

I created SnackyCat 😺🍩 a while ago just for fun but never turned it into a proper mini app, until now! 

With MiniKit and v0, I finally gave it a go. After digging through some docs and debugging a few Farcaster-specific issues, I managed to get this version up and running in just half a day! 

The app now works on Farcaster, Coinbase Wallet, and web browsers. (Though, sharing to X doesn’t work inside Farcaster or Coinbase Wallet).
