So how was @devcon? Short answer: amazing, exhausting, and left me with a light feeling of stagnation. Ok, hear me out: ✨ Meeting so many people who care as much about building in web3 as I do was genuinely energizing. 🤧 Seven days of conference life is brutal, and my autoimmune-plagued body is absolutely wrecked right now. 🐻 And yet, like @tinyrainboot, most conversations (even around new launches) left me feeling more bearish than bullish. ETH being down obviously does not help the collective mood. Beyond Devconnect, I bounced between Web0, @shefi, Flow, Starknet, @metamask, Funding the Commons, @gitcoin, @regensunite HUB, and more. While there were real sparks at those edges, it feels like fewer people have the mental bandwidth to nurture those sparks in the middle of so much bad news and macro noise. So if you left Devconnect feeling simultaneously inspired, burnt out, and weirdly bearish, you are not alone. Maybe the work now is protecting enough brain space and health to keep tending to the few real sparks that are still worth building around. I will share more on these shortly 😀 !

Turning it into a thread cause it’s such a significant piece integrated in the heart of Buenos Aires: The *Floralis Genérica* stands as a living symbol of renewal 🌺 This massive steel and aluminum flower, a gift by architect Eduardo Catalano, opens its petals each morning with the sun and closes them at night — blending art, engineering, and nature in perfect harmony. Located in Plaza de las Naciones Unidas, it reflects the city’s vibrant spirit and on weekends is often surrounded by loads of activities. It adds to one of those quiet, unforgettable Buenos Aires moments. What time of the day did you catch a snap?
