post EthCC takes: - a lot of infra, not enough users - working product is the pitch - being kind takes you a long way - great place to meet people, terrible to learn - self-presentation is an underrated skill - Farcaster is a bubble with its own narratives, we have a lot of work to do to bring a diverse crowd here

I tried my best to connect with people on Farcaster instead of Telegram. Success rate was <30%, which seems low for an Ethereum crowd.

What are the bubbles outside of Warpcast ?! Where do they hangout?

About the bubble, the original crew holds this place tightly closed, with exceptions of few ones. Even the channels, not welcoming new voices. That is why diversity can’t thrive here. I am lucky, I am resilient and don’t give up, but many people don’t wang to deal with this. There is too much of a class system occurring here and that can never lead to balanced and welcoming ecosystem

I think too much VCs money in the room, producing a lot of noise.

What's outside this narratives bubble we are in Or rather what is something important we are missing inside the bubble?

I share some takeaways. But at the same time I felt bit more motivated to give farcaster a new try, from some people i met along the way. Curious what bubbles and narratives you talk about

Two out of three people I've spent time with on ETHcc are on Warpcast, but maybe 1 out of 3 of these people are active every day... Maybe missing (or I didn’t find them) spaces for complementary services around infrastructures and purely technical developments, there were many people looking for the same thing and they don't find each other because of the technological noise. Great event to do team activities and with other teams. Do you think we have already started the cycle of recycling within Warpcast to stir up narratives instead of crossing bridges outside and bringing in other profiles? By the way, from the social spectrum it's great to meet people irl and socialise but not to be purely social, even though we didn’t meet each other in the end 😅
