Some clarity on what's up with this weeks Tipn allocations: Tipn allocations aren't intended for *most* Tipn users. Some power-users get them, and even some non-users (!) get them. Our data partner @quotient is helping us grow Tipn on Farcaster by identifying key users and non-users alike to give allocations to. We actually tried to be *more* inclusive this week. What that meant is that some people got lower allocations – which folks were rightfully confused about. We're sorry for the confusion. We also want to be clear: *the* path for Tipn users to earn $TIPN, long term, is by using Tipn. Every day you do, you earn $TIPN in the Earn tab of the app. Which you can then stake to earn $USDC. Allocations are a growth tool. All $TIPN holders win when more people use Tipn. In future seasons, Tipn will power allocations for other projects/tokens too (DM's open!). I like the fact that I saw people who never used tipn got an allowance and now can add the mini app, try it out and give out the free money they got to reward creators. 1. It helps them get to try it first hand. 2. They have an opportunity to make others feel rewarded. 3. Their signal, use and experiment gives a chance to convert into an organic long term user and add funds to also tip programmatically and stake. I like this approach and lower allocations only mean more people getting an opportunity to do it and create an expanded circle and community for tipn. This last week I saw a lot of people who didn't even know they had allowance and finished it on last day. Secondly the sentiment was amazing because people love this format of tipping so it was nostalgic for them to do it. We keep moving. ♾️✨️❤️

Thanks Kompreni. This helps straighten things out. I do appreciate the staking mechanism in the tipn miniapp and the growth tool (allocs). Did you know you were going to do this when you were laid up in the hospital? 🏥 Just loving the parallels to @rebase - this is such a thoughtful series of iterations to get to the finished polished product. Taking into account past experiences with the dynamics of tips and rings between power users to give each other the highest tip amounts, or their use in dynamics to gain more recasts or likes, what strategy does @tipn follow to prevent the same people from always being the ones who end up earning the most? I don't want to be incisive, but that ghost is always around. Don't take it the wrong way.
