The produce at normal (fka middle class) grocery stores goes bad much faster now

Bought a box of organic strawberries yesterday, and a few were already covered with mold this morning

Rarely happens with produce from upper class stores (eg. Whole Foods). Yet another way the growing class disparity is felt (but hidden)

Whole Foods supplier pretty par with our middle claaa supplier base 

Depends on supply chain innit

It is telling that we even question this

Lower class: dollar store, Walmart

Middle class: TJ’s, Safeway

Upper class: Whole Foods

Bc we’re in a bubble here, we think upper class is erewhon. But that’s actually the top of the upper class lol
