I have one year left to apply for Thiel Fellowship and this has always been in my back pocket to go convince rich people to save the kids

I automated pedo reporting on Twitter and IG and it works, it gets the keywords rings used taken down on the platforms, but they immediately find new ones

I have this hope that as AI tools get better so do moderation tools that can pick up these sus keywords ASAP and nuke them from orbit

They’re so obvious sometimes it seems insane a regex filter isn’t catching them today

They do not care unfortunately

I think about this problem a lot and it destroys me mentally, I’ve spent a decade thinking about it now 

We’re going to lose resources trying to save fake children and see an increase in deepfakes of those innocently posted by family members on socials

It’s already been happening and this is the worst these tools will ever be. No social media platform is investing in content moderation tools as they should be to deal with it

Ugh this world can be so disgusting sometimes.

Everybody wants to share their non fungible human. I feel for parents raising young kids today; not as fun as it could have been—documenting and sharing the growth and development of kiddos they’re so proud of. But ultimately it’s a better culture shift away from seeking adulation and praise from strangers and fringe acquaintances.

True. Involving family one should avoid . Also if one gets tips , that’s technically earning . Using other people’s including family or friends that passively lined to earning , not sure how reasonable is that .  My personal ethics- if I earn I will sell myself that includes articles post , knowledge sharing , good writing or link not anything else . 🙏
