When I tried out TikTok, I kept searching for educational videos about science, nature, technology, history, etc. Then the algorithm kept serving me, “This is how I found out I was autistic in my 30s as a woman” videos. And now your whole thread is making me think about this cast I saw on Farcaster once.

That’s so funny, I can attest to a similar experience (not thinking I am autistic & a lesbian necessarily) with TikTok. However, the exact opposite experience with Facebook. Hence why Farcaster is my preferred platform. They aren’t running a “fire sale” on my personal data
