I got the hang of L2. On cb wallet I can’t see my L3 tokens. I have to import to metamask im pretty sure. Just feels like alot of hoops to jump through to get there imo. I don’t feel like my assets are that safe for some reason

Honestly I’d be down to do some random degenerate shit on Degen. Make the gas fees so low that I play 1 DEGEN games on there. That would do it. But frankly I wouldn’t move significant capital there.

Actually I think it has to be a unique boutique app. (Since that seems like the thing that farcaster likes) Hard to justify going down the layer stack. But helps the more cross chain dexes you can onboard.

Tbh there's not a lot of incentive. Base is cheap enough as is and that's because it's not very decentralized or secure long term (yet, hopefully), so it doesn't make a lot of sense to move further down the risk curve and keep assets on an L3. Need something like hamcaster that's unique and needs ultra cheap tx. POIDH is a good start, need more. Maybe a good game with thousands of micro tx.

The more incentives, the better. Currently I don’t see any incentive. But the incentive has to be paired with clear narrative about why you want people on the L3. Otherwise, users will just be frustrated that those same incentives don’t exist on the L2.

I want L3s to work so badly but I struggle to figure out the true problems they solve. We tried token launching (mint.club) and that really didn’t take off. Not enough liquidity to make things really pop. We tried NFTs (Rarible) and that really didn’t take off. As a collector, I dont want NFTs on an L3. The only way I can think of the DL3 providing enough value for me to want to move my $DEGEN over, is to have an incredibly bespoke experience on the L3, like hardware, like AI agents swarming, but even then I don’t know if that would make me use it. From our discussion a few months back, I still think L3s work best: 1) For apps that require a ton of transactions per second (cheap) 2) If the end user doesn’t know they’re using it (ux)
