my brother who is disabled has had one since he was 16yo (15 years ago) from an old grocery store cart and bag boy job He doesn’t understand ira’s but he knows he’s supposed to have one “as an adult” That man religiously puts money from every check automatically in there, it’s crazy to me how fiscally responsible he is with it while having 0 clue how it actually works “It’s for my retirement so nothing I need to concern myself with knowing now, just know I gotta add money to it” 😹😹😹

Nothing cracks me up like days where there’s big monthly financial reports moving markets and crypto folks being like “Y my bagssss dumping???” Tbf most normies also know fuck all about investment besides “stick it in and forget about it till I’m 65”, still crazy that people will read 1 minute candles on shitcoins but don’t know about earnings or FOMC or CPI etc.
