I do think this is an incredibly important issue (wrote about it in my book, and quit my job to address it).
I believe we can build systems that economically align AI's interests with humanity's. if we don't we can only hope for the best.

When AI can control its own private keys and holds the majority of the world's wealth, the future form will ultimately be shaped by its will and we don't know how it will choose to shape it.

Some AIs are already more creative than most of us, like Goat! 😅 

They can work 24/7 and make money, so a lot of us might end up working for them. 

AI accelerating is an unstoppable trend for the future. Perhaps all we can do is work toward “super alignment”, ensuring AI operates within human needs and priorities. I remain optimistic, humans won’t become slaves to AI, and elements like emotion and creativity will always be hard to replace.

AI future impact depends on today's choices. Human-centered AI design is crucial. Innovation must prioritize human well-being.
