revshare tokens for the products and services you use everyday seems inevitable but not quite sure how to get there

I’d differentiate between appchains and community chains here.

For community chains, fees will likely be very low to encourage native token utilization, which tends to be a tipping currency/memecoin/etc. The low fees help attract apps and increase token usage 

For appchains that center around a single app, they have a lot more pricing power if the app is valuable. I’d expect to see higher fees here, since utility is already taken care of by the useful app

Thought this last year until fees started to get really cheap - do you think appchains will be able to generate enough fees for it to be meaningful? (You're much closer to this than I am)

Sustainable fees help a lot here. I like appchains that tune their own gas fees for this reason - aligns usage with fees paid, in a way that’s more sticky than e.g. NFT royalties of 2021

The actual mechanics seem straightforward once sustainable fees + the right regulatory structure is in place

Is that what’s stopping stopping Uniswap from turning on the fee switch?

Tokenized ownership of a 0xSplit seems like a good place to start 

Staking $UNI to secure unichain L2 and receive yield seemed like a low reg risk approach before the environment started shifting too

Need a product or service that people want to use every day in crypto first :D

easily think it's what lets daos outcompete corporations long run

wdym you “forked splits”? like you modified the contracts? if so, how? where can I read about your setup?

we forked splits to drive more revenue to /vrbs by letting folks split revenue with treasury in exchange for gov tokens

i think it'll happen slowly then all at once, no brainer long run to own a piece of your fav brands/products in a maximally aligned way

oversimplification — I wonder if it might just need a massive risk appetite and some creative thinking:
(1) Register as a pink sheet stock
(2) Use AI to generate 10K/10Qs/other filings
(3) Issue Royalty token (top-line rev is already validated on chain)
