as a user: - churning from app makes me devalue the token - devalued token makes me devalue the app - my assumption is that for apps, tokenomics matter in the long run

after launch, you're fighting 2 big battles at the same time: 1. PMF, and 2. Token price. I think 2 can be solved by changing the way tokens are used, perceived, vested.

Not sure if it’s worth it to integrate it on low rev apps. It would give the token an intrinsic value but seems like the value would probably stick close to what the expect rev is. Maybe that is the goal?

All of the above + it’s a one way door. Can’t take a token back. Makes it hard to pivot / fail unless you just accept potential financial damage of folks as mental thing to deal with

from the user's point of view: it seems to me that launching a token is a responsibility that cannot be taken on by one person and at the same time do a quality launch (ensure marketing, tokenomics, liquidity, other equally important steps) that's why there are actually only a few mini-apps that I think are ready for token launch. now the question is: why are they not launching the token? Good question. my opinion is that these mini-apps are really not ready to launch a token and provide a decent token for the long run. many mini-apps are not initially thinking in terms of a project that sees a token launch at the end of its journey. no, rather they see it as just a cool app like the AppStore or something like that. I think in the future we will still see attempts at token launches from mini-app owners, but if they aren't from a strong team, we probably won't even pay attention to it
