good article, largely tracks my thoughts on the current state of things crypto as we knew it the last 10 years is indeed "dead," however, nothing truly dies, instead better to think of it as transforming sort of like having a website doesn't make a company an "internet business," crypto as building purely for only crypto users is going to evolve, this is a good thing we need to move, culturally things feels a bit stale tbh, shipping new versions of a casino for users already at the table what's good though is that the tech is ready for the primetime, and crypto products become just products, and a lot of the tech and primitives we've pioneered here becomes invisible and creates powerful new experiences for users also speculation need not go away, in fact, it's powerful and creates new types of incentive mechanisms, apps and structures anyway, have to change with the times. I've gone through many periods of reinvention in this space since 2014, so time to roll with the punches again. Pays to stay nimble and roll with the times. I'm betting big on building in crypto X AI as that evolves as a product stack.
