liquid glass reminds me a lot of google's material design (originally called 'quantum paper') in that its a new conceptual framework, inspired by physical materials and interactions with light and shadow. spidey sense is that it'll have similar real-world outcomes: great in demos and first-party implementations (w lots of designer oversight), and big dropoff in quality and coherence at scale. prediction: there will be many many bad examples of liquid glass in practice
