in taiwan the human taking a photo would ask “xi gua tian bu tian?” and you’d say “tiannnn 😁” 

translation:
“is the watermelon sweet or not?” “sweeeet” 😁😁😁

I say macaroni because its a curve ball and get a range of facial gestures every time.

Accurate for Chinese although nowadays people say all kinds of weird shit.

I take school yearbook portraits for work and I'm definitely taking notes from some of these, haha. I sometimes tell the kids to say "stinky feet" to get them to smile
