shadcn is good if you want 100% design on autopilot, otherwise, go for radix for primitives and style them using tailwindcss, best combo with flexibility + offloading

Chakra UI is worth a look if translation from design to code is important, using design system level components that can be as little or as much custom stuff on top as you need.

If you want a starting point for building your own component library shadcn is good. If you want to built it right out of the gate, then radix-ui with tailwind imo. I’d look at shadcn on best practices for wrapping radix, especially typings. Haven’t looked deeply at catalyst. If it has proper component abstractions I’d be very interested. Love tailwind ui but wrapping the components into something g reusable is a hassle and mid level react engineers mess it up.

ShadCN or Chakra Only downside of shadCN is that it’s so popular that everyone uses it so you have to work a bit to make it look different

Tailwind is great for someone that isn’t a front end dev. You should put this to a survey!

It really depends on your specific needs and preferences. Each React UI component library has its own set of features, design aesthetics, and performance aspects. I recommend researching each library, trying out their demo apps, and reading reviews to determine which one best suits your project requirements. Ultimately, it's important to choose a library that aligns with your development workflow and goals.
