I feel very lost now that I don’t have anything to tip the casts I like. @eggsdotfun has clear rules for getting an allowance, but I’m not there yet. @tipn is widely used, but the rules for getting an allowance aren’t clear at all, so I’m not sure how close or far I am from getting one. I also feel that way fewer people are talking to me, probably because I can’t tip. Little by little, I’m starting to lose interest in this platform.

I see what you mean. I do have a tipn allowance, but am not teally sure why. I think because I was holding a bit of reply. I am also using the automatic tipping from both tipn and noice. But it is not why I am here. I like the poetry channel, I love my new languages of Farcaster project and I like the vibe in @losfomos. And initiatives like @crystalhearts impress me. In the end, it's us who need to keep the vibe alive here. The alternatives are not too many. Lens, maybe bluesky. I can't go back to X.

You could deploy your own core Empire token via EmpireBuilder.world & use it to tip to people via Noice etc, as well as sending for fun on diff times etc, and then use the platform to do things like send out NFTs or other tokens as rewards to the people who you see are increasing your experience here Also can use MVRs Ripper mini-app (a great one) to surface who you've been intercting with, or they with you, and then tip out to them your (or other) tokens via that which becomes a shareable things as well :)

what is your reason(s) for being here on Farcaster beyond tipping? That’s where I would suggest you focus your attention. If tipping is the driving force behind engagement, it’s never going to last. I’ve always appreciated your thoughtfulness and genuine this, so hope you can figure it out to stay here.

if you're interested in interacting with people from all domains, and in your areas of interest who don't just care about tokens -- i can genuinely recommend X as a social platform. i've forged many great connections this year, some truly invaluable, and the engagement is 10x or more compared to here (entirely organically). of course, there's also a lot of noise on there so discernment is required
