i love how there are places beyond birthplace, upbringing or family that settle so deeply inside you that you end up carrying them. for me, the closest is kagoshima
on a personal level, the cure for slop is depth; and depth shared with those who seek and practice it becomes a joy no shallowness could ever reach; a shared sincerity of pursuit that lives in a realm of presence, intentionality, curiosity, and understanding
The power badge is currently a discrimination badge. It's very sad to me. There's almost nobody in the e.g. Japanese and Korean community who has the badge, despite there being countless VERY ACTIVE REAL POWER USERS. How many times do I need to raise awareness about it until there is a change? Pls amend the algo ASAP!
sad to see a broken algorithm, and now, authentic expression turned into commodified performance. a literal price tag on posts that were meant for human connection. farcaster feels less like a space for genuine communication, and more like a marketplace for content. that's never what i signed up for
