i love how there are places beyond birthplace, upbringing or family that settle so deeply inside you that you end up carrying them. for me, the closest is kagoshima
on a personal level, the cure for slop is depth; and depth shared with those who seek and practice it becomes a joy no shallowness could ever reach; a shared sincerity of pursuit that lives in a realm of presence, intentionality, curiosity, and understanding
sad to see a broken algorithm, and now, authentic expression turned into commodified performance. a literal price tag on posts that were meant for human connection. farcaster feels less like a space for genuine communication, and more like a marketplace for content. that's never what i signed up for
the answer to slop is craft. beautifully and timelessly, craft is skill-based and creates tangible results, whereas slop is attention-based and vanishes into the nothingness it came from
