Within/leaving the US (I have precheck + global entry): 10-30 minutes before boarding depending on how big the airport is (unless thereā€™s an airport lounge I wanna check out then like 3 hours lol) Entering the US: usually 1-2 hours before boarding (again unless thereā€™s a lounge I wanna check out)

Generally aim for 2 hours before but it is usually under and sometimes even an hour before. Hand luggage only usually so I worry less.
