I’ve had people cold dm me. I also had a send me a message saying “please share” and the guy used my words from my lumpectomy crowdfund, with a fake hospital picture, title saying his dad was dying right now of cancer right now and needed to be with him talk about beyond the pale lol, ruthless scammer

Sometimes they’re borderline ridiculous. I can understand difficult situations — I’ve lived through them myself in the past — but I’ve never felt entitled to ask anything from anyone. On the contrary, I used those situations as motivation to push myself even further. When I see things like this, I feel sorry… but I just can’t do more.
