GM @bfg Fried 🍤shrimp with garlic and lime My cooking is very simple: I rinse fresh shrimp with water , then pour them into a hot pan with corn oil. I fry them for 2-3 minutes, add chopped garlic and salt. Fry for another minute. That's it. Place on a large plate and squeeze lime juice over the shrimp. Serve with fresh 🍺beer)

Kebab 🫠 step 1 Heat the oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Tip all the ingredients except the oil into a food processor with a large pinch of salt and lots of ground pepper. Pulse until everything is combined and chopped together. You can also just squish everything together in a bowl but this will give you a looser finish. step 2 Oil a large sheet of foil, tip the meat mix in the middle and mould to a very thick sausage, roughly the shape of an aubergine. Roll up the foil tightly, twisting up the ends to create a Christmas cracker shape. step 3 Lay on a shallow roasting tin and roast in the oven for 35-40 mins, turning occasionally, or until a digital cooking thermometer reads 75C when pierced in the middle. Leave the kebab to cool a little, then unwrap the foil. Place back on the tray and brown under the grill or with a blowtorch.

Why is everyone sharing such fancy food pictures? Haha! I don’t have a photo to share, but my favorite meal is pasta with a chicken sauce, some beans mixed in for extra flavor, and a side of fresh tomatoes. Simple but so good!

Ingredients 1 pound ground pork 1 pound ground beef 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 carrot, grate ¼ cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons salt 1 ½ tablespoons garlic powder 2 ½ teaspoons black pepper 1 (16 ounce) package spring roll wrappers ¼ cup water, or as needed 1 ½ quarts oil for frying Directions Combine ground pork, ground beef, onion, and carrot in a large bowl; mix well with hands. Working one at a time, lay a wrapper on a flat surface with a corner pointing at you. Place about 2 tablespoons filling in a line. Fold the bottom edge of wrapper snugly over filling. Fold in the left and right sides of wrapper towards the center. Roll up tightly to seal in filling. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Working in batches, fry lumpia in hot oil, turning once, until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate. Cut lumpia in half, or serve as-is with dipping sauce.
