on the other hand most government websites are too complex and never got adapted to mobile

I have no idea what’s going to happen after we’ve implemented everything to do with AGI. What are these kids gonna do?

we’re onto a very weird future, but I also think kids should learn to use devices with much bigger screens as it’s a lot more precise and efficient for many tasks especially useful ones

honestly it might be that in 5 years from now you could easily rely on ai to do anything, fill any form etc. so only enthusiasts and support folks will need proper desktops

My 6 year old did level 1 British international school in Thailand and they specifically teach a computer lab class for kids their age where they learn to use a desktop computer with a keyboard and a mouse. Seems outdated but for a tablet / touchscreen generation it’s not such a bad idea

and then when they get over 18 they’re required to deal with it like taxes or get fined/jailed otherwise 

in portugal for example all of it is very complicated and either digital or you spend days or weeks in offices or spend minimum salary worth on accountants and lawyers to understand what you have

no kid ever dealing with taxes or any government or corporate shit though

I guess it shouldn’t be surprising, but I am truly mind blown by how computer-illiterate kids might be because they’ve never actually required one to fulfill their computing wants and needs

But still the future is weird indeed. I can't really say what's next clearly.

All I know is that "everything is computer" 
So they'll definitely learn how to use a pc.
