Considering the move to Berlin, please list your pros/cons in the comments to help inform my decision!

Pros:
1) German bureaucracy > Portuguese one 
2) You get to enjoy all 4 seasons 
3) Better located for travel around europe vs Lisbon + trains 
4) Large international and startup community
5) More cultural things to do vs Lisbon 
6) Great public transport 

Cons:
1) Cash
2) Heute leider nicht 

I think I’ve just convinced myself to move to Berlin

True, I think they should have just moved the capital to Munich or whatever and let Berlin be…

But it's so dirty...

Just spent 3 days in Berlin and can't believe the capital of Europe's strongest economy can look like this

I can agree with you on stunning nature, but have found the other points to be sub optimal.

Random tbh, the bureaucracy part was meant to be easier than in other places but so thought everyone else it seems lol (the immigration system is collapsing at this point)

Love Portugal though! Aside from all of that it’s a beautiful country with warm people, great food, stunning nature. So no regrets :)
