1.5 years into being a founder: my biggest surprise has been the physical toll. Any others go through the same journey? 6 hours in a desk chair, 8 hours laying down on my couch, 14 hour work days. Trying to fix that now! But it’s like starting at square one. If I run 3 miles I’m wiped.

why? nothing better than a long zone2 run to increase VO2max. lifting is more anaerobic than aerobic.

for a founder trying to maintain baseline, i think simple strength-oriented workouts are more sustainable. in my experience, high volume running cycles through calories at a much higher rate, creating new problems around healthy fueling and hormone balance over time. easy to get this wrong which is why its common to see so many "skinny fat" flabby runners (and cyclists)
