the other day i tried to film myself doing front squats. 😱OMG i'm horrible. now i understand the importance of filming yourself to understand your mistakes and improve your technique. my back is hunched, my elbows fall forward and my legs don't go down enough. today i tried to improve, slightly better the legs, but the rest is still horrible, lot of work to do (Second video) i'm posting this videos, even if unwatchable, to motivate some other beginners who, like me, feel guilty about doing it, since online you can only find videos of perfect exercises and sometimes it's demotivating. Failure is part of the process, part of the progress. Any feedback and tips will be highly appreciated.

Honestly #1 is keeping up the front squats because it helps reveal weak points in your posterior chain From the video my best guess is you naturally hunch forward and have tight hips(most of us do) Can try to do some mobility work in there. Among things you can do assisted squats with something you can balance with to comfortably get into and out of a deeper squat position as you work up to naturally doing it body weight and with weights

💯 Until two week ago I was not able to do a deep squat without falling behind. Now I’m doing targeted stretching after running and I can now deep squat (with shoes, not barefoot).

Let’s go! Ya I’d start with being able to deep squat in a shoe with a wedge in the back to elevate the heel. Once you get there you can try doing it barefoot or on flat ground
