Was just watching an old flick of 1981 called "Thief".
Don't know why but those old movies are kinda dope af!
Especially the soundtrack of that one which is from
the Band Tangerine Dream (and 1 from Pink Floyd afaik).
If you're into realistic and unpretentious thrillers that's one for you! 👍
The Song below is the only one not from TD. It's from the composer Craig Safan from the ending scene and is beautiful!! The other one is from a bar scene by the James Caan Chicago Blues Band which the director Michael Mann wanted to use for the whole film but he ultimately felt that this choice might hamper the film's resonance
with a wider audience.
James Caan is a professional safecracker in that movie trying to escape his life of crime, and Tuesday Weld plays his wife. The supporting cast includes Jim Belushi, Robert Prosky, Dennis Farina, and Willie Nelson. The screenplay is inspired by the memoir The Home Invaders: Confessions of a Cat Burglar, by former cat burglar Frank Hohimer.
