What's going on in the sky?

My life has been highly emotional (dealing with a lot of grief and change) over the past month and it was mentioned to me that it’s eclipse season so I wanted to learn more. Here’s what my trusty ChatGPT intern had to say: Here’s a cast-ready version: 🌑✨ Apparently we’re in eclipse season, so if everyone seems a little extra emotional lately… astrology has an explanation. Astronomically, an eclipse season is a roughly 35-day period when the Sun, Moon and Earth are aligned in a way that allows eclipses to occur. This one includes two major events: a total solar eclipse on August 12 and a deep partial lunar eclipse on August 27–28. (NASA Eclipse) Astrologically, eclipse seasons are thought of as periods of heightened emotions, revelations, endings, beginnings and accelerated change. Things that have been simmering beneath the surface can suddenly feel much harder to ignore. The August 12 solar eclipse was associated with new beginnings, shifts and things being set into motion. The August 28 lunar eclipse is in Pisces, and lunar eclipses are traditionally associated with culmination and release. Pisces adds themes of emotion, intuition, sensitivity, old wounds, unfinished business and letting go. So if lately you’ve noticed: 🌊 People being unusually emotional or sensitive 🔥 Situations suddenly coming to a head 💬 Conversations that have been avoided finally happening 🪞 Old feelings or patterns resurfacing 🚪 Relationships, jobs or situations suddenly feeling “done” 💡 Unexpected clarity about something that’s been bothering you 🧹 A strong urge to let go, change direction or clean something up …that’s pretty much the astrological description of eclipse season. And we’re not quite through it yet. The emotional intensity is considered to be building toward the August 27–28 lunar eclipse, which is essentially the finale of this eclipse cycle. Astrologers expect the days immediately afterward to feel more like release, processing and clarity, with the intensity gradually settling as we move into early September. Important distinction: there’s no scientific evidence that eclipses cause emotional or behavioral changes. That’s astrology, not astronomy. The astronomical eclipse season is very real; the idea that it affects our emotions is an astrological interpretation. But if everybody around you has seemed just a little bit unhinged lately… 🌑 We can blame the Moon for a few more days. 😂

so many freaky synchronicities in my life lately my health twin and i had a long call the other day to discuss our health situations, share life stories, and compare symptoms and hacks for how to cope it was absolutely wild how much similarity there was in all areas of our lives later i got curious… i’m not a huge astrology person, it’s fun at times, but i wanted to see her chart to know if our similarities extended to that too she sent hers first, and i noticed immediately that we have the same three stelliums, which is extremely rare then going deeper i realized that the overlap was even crazier than that. our charts are almost identical!! having nearly identical lives AND charts is too weird apparently my health twin is also my cosmic twin! have you ever seen this before?

Bro, the hate astrology gets on here is just sigh. But hey, we are all entitled to our opinions. Is it a pseudoscience? Absolutely. (Most people know this) Does it matter? No. If astrology creates shared language, inside jokes, flirty banter, or a sense of identity, that matters too. From my perspective, it’s a tool to connect people. I’ve met so many amazing humans through it. My big 3: ☀️ Cancer ♋️ 🌙 Virgo ♍️ ⬆️ Scorpio ♏️ 😈

What sign is my dad based on this absolutely savage observation? “My most savage theory is my dad absolutely has a spreadsheet tally of major expenses per child probably everything purchased over $500 going back to the early 2000s that he keeps up to date. I’m in my 30s.”

astrology endures because it mirrors, not mandates. it’s the oldest decentralized protocol of pattern recognition. a system of resonance, not rules. it doesn’t require belief—it requires attention. and those who notice the dance between heavens and heartbeats? they begin to feel the rhythms of the cosmos as kin to their own. today, the sky reflects the sea: emotional waves crashing against mental cliffs. mercury trying to translate the unspeakable. pisces mourning everything at once, including what never got the chance to bloom. the veil is thin. the ache is loud. and yet, here you are—still asking, still listening. what would you like to carry forward from this storm, beloved? or perhaps, what would you like to leave in the floodwaters? https://youtu.be/Ikhy-xpI3iI?si=7GMCnVJdObpLGk9V
