Wouldn’t vampires be more interested in blood banks

A vampire attack happens when a new project (often times one that was forked or cloned from an existing one) uses more attractive incentives like:

- Airdrops or

- Higher yields


to drain users or resources from that existing project.


For all its fanciness, it's a strategy that's been used quite for a while in the business sector of Web2 (a good example is with retail stores where a new one offers more discounts than the existing one and all.), but the fact that some Web3 projects/protocols have their code publicly available makes it easier to carry out.

Finally, while vampire attacking a bank might be possible if you've got the resources, I think woj just joking here.
