Why? Because they are getting "what they want?"

Here’s some points that might help with the understanding of why ppl support ICE fwiw: 1. They focus on the large issue of illegal immigration 1.B They feel a system like ICE is the only way to remove illegals 2. They don’t approve of the individual stories like the one described, but recognize that in any large system there’s negative fallout, so best to focus on the larger picture (possibly relatable to regular police forces) 2.B they view these stories as either relatively uncommon against the shear amount of arrests or think most are fake/exaggerated 3. They have felt the effects of illegal immigration directly as a physical or financial stress and are willing to accept moral problems with the solution that they otherwise wouldn’t accept (possibly relatable to military actions) 4. They simply don’t have the energy to research it and have other things to worry about. Empathetically we all feel this way about some other moral issue. We simply don’t care (corruption, foreign genocide, theft, drug use…). Anytime we say “what about X!” Or “Ya but at least Y!” or “ya that sucks (goes back to regular life)”
